The Florida state quarter

The Florida quarter has been in circulation since early 2004, but I noticed it in my pocket only today. I kinda liked the idea of the state quarters when I first heard of them, and I'm not the first to have soured on the plan, but this is getting pretty bad. What's with the quasi-random design elements floating in an undifferentiated field? Pull the plug, I say.
